Ingredients: 1 pound of sausage 1/4 cup of self-rising flour 2 cups of milk Salt and pepper to taste Ingredients for the dumplings: 1 cup of self-rising flour 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt 1 tablespoon of butter 1/2 cup of evaporated milk Instructions: Making the dumplings: In a bowl, add 1 cup of self-rising flour and 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt. Stir well. Then, using a pastry cutter or fork, cut 1 tablespoon of butter in the flour mixture.
