Sweet Potato Dog Treats Posted: 15 Oct 2021 06:50 AM PDT Sweet Potato dog treats I originally came up with this sweet potato dog treats recipe when I had rescued a female Boxer dog and her litter of 5 puppies. This bunch of Boxer pups truly loved to eat. So I always needed nutritious dog treats on hand to feed the motley crew. The original sweet potato dog treat recipe worked out well, but I wanted to add additional flavors and protein to them. So I began adding a jar of all-natural peanut butter to my recipe. The puppies loved them. Today, I still find the time to bake a batch of treats for Princess (the Boxer puppy I kept). Ingredients: 4 large sweet potatoes Water, enough to boil the potatoes in 1 large egg 3 cups of flour 1 ½ cups of all-natural peanut butter Instructions: In a large pot add the sweet potatoes and water.
