Crispy Fried Skinless Chicken Breasts
Hey there, foodies! Today, I'm sharing a delicious recipe for crispy, skinless chicken breasts that will make your taste buds dance with joy. This recipe is perfect for any special occasion and is sure to impress your friends and family.
Ingredients:
3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thirds
2 cups of self-rising flour
1/2 teaspoon of seasoning salt
1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of powdered chicken bouillon
1 teaspoon of onion powder
Canola oil for frying
Instructions:
Start by slicing each chicken breast into three even segments lengthwise. This will help the chicken cook evenly and make it easier to coat with the flour mixture.
In a large bowl, mix together the self-rising flour, seasoning salt, black pepper, powdered chicken bouillon, and onion powder. Make sure to stir everything well to combine all the flavors.
Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, making sure to coat it evenly. Shake off any excess flour and let the chicken rest for a few minutes to help the coating stick better. You can coat them again for an extra-crispy finish.
Heat up some canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet. Cook the chicken until it turns golden brown on both sides, flipping it halfway through.
When the chicken is golden brown, transfer it to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serve with some fries on the side and dig in!
