Deliciously Decadent Devil's Food Cake Cookies

If you love Devil's Food Cake, then you are going to absolutely adore these chocolatey treats. This recipe makes around 24 soft-batch cookies that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth cravings. You can even add mini chocolate chips to make them extra chocolatey. Are you ready to start baking?

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour

  • 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup of butter (plus a little extra for greasing the cookie trays)

  • 2/3 cup of packed Splenda brown sugar blend

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract

  • 1 cup of mini chocolate morsels (optional)

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour and 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.


In a separate bowl, cream together 1/4 cup of butter and 2/3 cup of packed Splenda brown sugar blend. Add 1/2 cup of milk, 2 eggs, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.


Combine the dry cocoa mixture with the wet ingredients, then stir in 1 cup of mini chocolate morsels, if desired.


Lightly grease two cookie trays with butter.


Using a medium-sized spoon, drop rounded spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the trays, spacing them a few inches apart.


Bake the cookies in a 350-degree oven for about 8 minutes.


Let the cookies cool for 20 minutes on a rack before storing them in an airtight container.


Now, grab a glass of milk and enjoy!
