Ingredients:

  • 2 boxes of macaroni and cheese

  • 1 pound of ground beef

  • 1 (24-ounce) jar of pasta sauce

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 clove of garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

  • Seasoning salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned. Make sure to break it up into small pieces as it cooks.


Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for a few minutes until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.


Stir in the pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, seasoning salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.


Cook the macaroni and cheese according to the package instructions. Once it is done, stir it into the skillet with the beef and tomato mixture.
