Chicken Poached in Savory Broth

Try my delicious Chicken Poached in Savory Broth! This dish features tender chicken cooked to perfection in a flavorful broth, creating a comforting and satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt

  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions:

Place the chicken breasts in a large stew pot.


Add the chicken broth, diced onion, garlic, seasoning salt, freshly ground black pepper, and thyme to the stew pot.


Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.


Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.


After cooking, carefully remove the chicken from the pot and allow it to cool slightly before slicing. Alternatively, you may choose to serve the chicken pieces whole.


Serve the poached chicken with the broth as a delicious and comforting meal.
