Delicious Stewed Chicken and Potatoes

Are you in the mood for a warm, hearty, and tasty meal to curb those winter cravings? Well, look no further than this mouthwatering stewed chicken and potatoes recipe! It's the perfect dish for a relaxing night at home or a fun family get-together.

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast

  • 4 potatoes, peeled and diced

  • 1 carrots, grated to add a hint of extra flavor

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 3 cups of chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika

  • 1 tablespoon of chopped chives

  • 1/4 teaspoon of thyme

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions:

To start, gather your ingredients. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.


Add the chicken breasts and cook them until they are browned on both sides.


Remove the chicken from the pot. Allow the meat to cool slightly, then shred or slice it into bite-sized pieces.


Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot and cook until softened.


Return the chicken to the pot and add the grated carrot, potatoes, chicken broth, seasoning salt, freshly ground black pepper, smoked paprika, chives, and thyme.


Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.


Serve hot and enjoy!
