Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups of cooking oil

  • 1 1/2 cups of granulated Splenda, plus extra for rolling the cookies in once they are baked

  • 3 1/4 cups self-rising flour

  • 1 egg

  • 2 teaspoons of butter flavoring

  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a big mixing bowl, toss in all the ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon until a soft dough forms. Then, use your hands to shape the dough into little ball-shaped pieces. Place them on a cookie sheet tray. If your dough seems too dry, just add a bit more cooking oil.

Flatten the cookie rounds, using your fingers or the back of a spoon.

Pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 8 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn a nice golden brown.

Once the cookies are baked, sprinkle some Splenda over the tops or roll them in it for some extra sweetness.

Let the cookies cool down before digging in. Enjoy them as they are, or stash them in an airtight container for later.

Try my sugar-free Southern cookies today and experience a taste of the South without the sugar overload! Happy Snacking!

Growing Vegetable Plants in Rockwool Cubes

Growing Vegetable Plants in Rockwool Cubes Hey there, fellow gardeners! Today we're going to talk about a cool way to grow your own vegetables using rockwool cubes. It may sound fancy, but it's actually pretty simple and fun. Let's dive in! What You'll Need: First things first, you'll need some rockwool cubes . These are like little sponges that help your plants grow strong and healthy. You'll also need some vegetable seeds, a tray to hold the cubes, and water. I personally use these hydroponic grow trays with dome lids. Step 1: Soak the Cubes Before you plant your seeds, you'll need to soak the rockwool cubes in water. This helps them absorb moisture and provides a good environment for your plants to grow. Step 2: Plant Your Seeds Once your cubes are nice and soaked, it's time to plant your seeds. Make a little hole in the top of each cube and drop a couple of seeds in. Some seeds are so tiny and I generally end up planting more than two in each cube. ...
