Over the Heel Grilled Cheese Do you ever avoid eating the end pieces of bread? Well, I have a delicious recipe that actually uses those heel pieces! These grilled cheese sandwiches are just as tasty as using regular slices of bread. Ingredients: 4 heel pieces of bread 4 slices of your favorite cheese Softened butter Instructions: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on one side of each inner heel piece of bread, focusing on the side that is not the crusty end. Next, place two slices of cheese on the unbuttered crusty side of one heel piece of bread. Top with the other heel piece of bread, buttered side facing up. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook them until they are golden brown on each side and the cheese is melted. To enhance ease of handling, I prefer to cut grilled cheese sandwiches diagonally once they have finished cooking. This method not only makes the sandwiches more visually appealing but also allows for a more enjoyable eating experience. Enjoy your deli...
