Yummy Slow-cooked Pinto Beans

Ingredients:
1 pound dried pinto beans
1 onion, chopped
2 to 3 cloves of minced garlic
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
4 cups of water
3 cups of vegetable broth
Instructions:
First, rinse the pinto beans under cold water and pick out any stones or debris.
Place the beans in a large pot and cover them with water. Allowing them to soak overnight.
Drain the beans and return them to the pot. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, seasoning salt, freshly ground black pepper, smoked paprika, 4 cups of water, and 3 cups of vegetable broth.
Cover the pot and cook on low heat for about 10 hours, stirring occasionally. Add more water if needed to keep the beans covered.
Once the beans are tender, taste and adjust seasoning if desired.
