How to Make Yeast Bread in a Crock pot

Hello my foodie friends! Today, I'm sharing my delicious crock pot bread recipe. The dough is basically like making any other type of yeast bread dough, it requires a couple of hours to double. But the end result is a delightful loaf of fresh bread.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1 packet of active dry yeast

  • 1 1/2 cups of warm water

  • 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt

  • 1 tablespoons of granulated Splenda or sugar

Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix the warm water with the granulated Splenda or sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.

In a large bowl, combine the flour and seasoning salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and stir until a sticky dough forms.

Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise for about 1 to 2 hours, until it has doubled in size.

Once the dough has risen, shape it into a loaf and place it in a well greased crockpot.

Cover the crockpot with a lid and cook the bread on high for 2 to 3 hours, or until the top is golden brown. If you'd like the top of your bread to brown more uniformly, you can flip the bread near the end of baking or transfer it to the oven.

Once your bread is finished, allow it to cool on a wire cooling rack. Then slice and enjoy!
